NATURAL MONUMENT MARIA HILL LIONZA
Location:	Yaracuy
Area:	11,712 hectares.
Declaration:	Decree No. 234 of March 18, 1960 Gaceta Oficial No. 26,210 of March 18, 1960
Protected ecosystems and relevant natural attractions:	Massif where the river Yaracuy forests. Seat legends, cults and magical-religious folk.
Tourist attractions:	It is a mountain covered with virgin forests and a great variety of flora and fauna. It is seat of legends and folk myths that worship the deity Aboriginal Lionza Queen Mary. Among the sights are: Sorte, Cerro La Danta, Quibayo, Aracal, Buchicabure, Charay, Tacariguita, Las Cascadas.
Activities Permitted:	Hiking, mythical-religious acts in the areas of Sorte, and El Oro Quibayo
Prohibited Activities:	Hunting, mining plants and wildlife.
