Laguna Urao rich ore, deciduous forests. | Tourist attractions: | It is a lovely saltwater lagoon immersed in a semiarid landscape. Has the presence of a mineral called Urao (sodium sesquicarbonate) that comes from sales made by undercurrents and was formerly used by Indians to develop the chime. Represents a center of attraction, leisure and recreation for residents and visitors. It has two recreation areas known as Yohame and The Spa. |
Activities Permitted: | Hiking, fishing paddle boats, picnicking, hiking, outdoor recreation, nature observation, scientific research. | Prohibited Activities: | The mass sports and leisure events, the carrying of weapons, the extraction of natural species, sailing on the lagoon, consumption and sale of alcoholic beverages and psychotropic substances. | Schedules and fares: | None established. |
