Location:	Amazonas State
Area:	569,820 hectares.
Declaration:	Decree No. 1233 of the 02nd of November 1990. E Official Gazette No. 4250 dated 18 January 1991.
Protected ecosystems and important natural attractions:	Isolated outcrops of sandstone with presence of lakes, waterfalls and underground rivers.
Tourist attractions:	The tepuis are highlighted throughout the landscape by their high tables tabular forms that rise abruptly, vertical walls and with a diversity of flora and fauna with high endemic, are also characterized by being sources of important rivers in the region, shedding some spectacular waterfalls forming a true water resource. Palaeological contain a high value being the oldest rocks on earth.
Activities Permitted:	Activities in the tepuis are very limited. Only scientific research are allowed.
Prohibited Activities:	We do not allow the tepuis climbing, hunting, commercial and recreational fisheries, introduction and breeding of domestic animals, sports or recreational events, mass transport of weapons, the removal of flora and fauna, the consumption of alcohol or psychotropic substances.
