Venezuela Galera Plateau Natural Monument :

NATURAL MONUMENT PLATEAU LA GALERA
Location:	Mérida State
Area:	95 hectares.
Declaration:	Decree No. 2352 of Date 05 of June 1991. Official Gazette No. 4-548-E of 26 March 1993.
Protected ecosystems and relevant natural attractions:	Relict of emergent terrace.
Tourist attractions:	It is a medium-sized mountain with a completely flat top from where one has a panoramic view of the town of Tovar. There is a monument to Christ the King.
Activities Permitted:	The observation of nature, hiking, scientific research.
Prohibited Activities:	The mass sports and leisure events, the carrying of weapons, the removal of flora and fauna.
