Venezuela Open Rio Frio Natural Monument:

NATURAL MONUMENT COLD RIVER OPEN
Location:	Tachira State
Area:	1282 hectares.
Declaration:	Decree No. 2. 350, dated 5 June 1992. Gaceta Oficial No. 35,156 of 18 February 1993.
Protected ecosystems and relevant natural attractions:	Open between the region of the Llanos and the tectonics of the Tachira depression.
Tourist attractions:	It is a geological structure which is the only natural pass through the Andean mountain system, between the plains region and the tectonic depression of Táchira. It includes the valley that forms an ecological corridor between the National Parks Chorro El Indio and Tapo-Caparo.
Activities Permitted:	Observation of nature, scientific research.
Prohibited Activities:	Hunting, sporting or recreational events, mass transport of weapons, the removal of flora and fauna.
