NATURAL MONUMENT JUAN GERMÁN ROSCIO (Cerro Platillon)
Location:	Guarico State
Area:	8,000 hectares.
Declaration:	Decree No. 1462 from 04th February 1987. Gaceta Oficial No. 33,664 of 20 February 1987.
Protected ecosystems and relevant natural attractions:	Highest peak in the mountainous interior of the Cordillera de la Costa.
Tourist attractions:	It is a natural setting of hills and grasslands on the edge of the Serrania del Interior and the plains. It is the highest mountain in the mountains and has a mountainous landscape with a cloud forest vegetation where water-born major tributaries that feed the main dams in the area. In its lower part presents savannah vegetation.
Activities Permitted:	Tours, hiking, scientific research
Prohibited Activities:	Hunting for sport or commercial. Logging. The introduction and breeding of domestic animals. The motor traffic. The mass sports and leisure events. The carrying of weapons. The extraction of species of flora and fauna.
