According to Official Gazette No. 34,819 of 14 October 1991. | Protected ecosystems and relevant natural attractions: | Physical interconnection between the Henri Pittier National Park and Macarao, cloud forests. | Tourist attractions: | This natural monument is a mountain landscape. It is one of the highest peaks that form the Cordillera de la Costa. It presents four being the highest peaks on Codazzi with 2429 meters of altitude. It is characterized by numerous waterways of relevant importance as the Tuy River, The Petaquire, El Limon and San Carlos. It is an area of outstanding beauty and striking, besides having a panoramic view. It represents an ecological corridor linking the San Esteban National Park Henri Pittier and Macara. |
