      Location:
      Tachira State.
      Area:
      17,000 hectares
      Declaration:
      Decree No.641 from 07 of December 1989.
      No.4.158 Official Gazette of 25 January 1990.
      Ordinance No. 2349 extending from 05 of junio of 1992
      Gaceta Oficial No. 4548.
      Protected ecosystems and important natural attractions:
      Evergreen forests.
      Wildlife:
      Lapa moorland (Agouti Taczanowski) machicolation deer (Mazama rufina), spectacled bear (Spectacled Bear), peccary (Tayassu pecan), Anteater (Giant Anteater), ocelot (Felis pardalis), mapanare (Bothrops atrox), coral (Micrurus sp .) liana (Oxybelis sp.).
      Flora:
      The dominant families are the Bignoniaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Lauraceae, Myrtaceae and Rubiaceae. The dominant tree species are the mijao (Anacardium excelsum), lodgepole pine laso (Decussocarpus sp.), The jabillo (Hura crepitans), Guam (Inga sp.), Cedar (Cedrela odorata), laurel (Ficus maxima) and yagrumo (Cecropia peltata). Among the highlights epiphytes wooden beard (Tillandsia sp.) And numerous orchids of the genus Epidendrum.
      Water resources:
      In the park source of many rivers and creeks that drain into the watersheds of rivers and Uribante Torbes.

      • Cascada El Chorro El Indio.
      • Chorro El Franklin.
      • Guarín moors, pine, Moradeño, The Bear.
      • Macanilla.
      • Cascade rivers Hueque Rico.
      • Mount Chimborazo.
      • Paramo de Marín.
      • Loma Mirador del Viento.
      Activities Permitted:
      Walking, hiking, camping, mountain climbing.
      Prohibited Activities:
      Lighting fires. Extracting species of plants and animals. Leaving or throwing solid waste. Mark or cause damage to vegetation. Hunt. Carrying firearms or any other that may cause damage to natural resources. Expense and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Introducing exotic species of wild animals. Make or commercial advertisements or political setting. Entering the park in hours not established visiting hours. Use of sound equipment that disturbs the tranquility of the park. Taking pictures or filming for commercial purposes without permission.
      Schedules and fares:
      Visiting hours are from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
