Wildlife: | Temporarily house more than 30 migratory birds from North and South America. Protect the habitat and bird populations endemic or restricted as the ant Antpitta Tachira (Grallaria chthonia). Taken by spectacled bear populations (Spectacled Bear), pacarana (Dynomys branicki ~), lighthouse (Didelphis albiventris), cock of the Sierras (Rupicola peruviana), helmeted currasow (Pauxi pauxi) and oilbird (Oilbird). | Flora: |
In the highlands highlights frailejones (Espeletia sp.), Ferns and orchids (Pleurothallis tamanensis, Pachyphyllum tortuosum). Among the dominant tree species is pine laso (Decussocarpus sp.). There are also some endemic species such as Rhynchospora Tamana, Oreobolus venezuelensis (Cyperaceae), tamanum Hypericum (Guttiferae), Tamani chardonü (Compositae) and Miconia size (Melastomataceae). | Water resources: | Caparo rivers, Ouinimari, Cold, you hear, Cutufí, Chiquito and Black. |
