Wildlife: | At least 6 species of birds with restricted distribution, including chested hummingbird (Sternoclyta cyanopectus), ocelot (Felis pardalis), howler monkey (Alouatta seniculus), three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus), machicolation deer (Mazama americana), peccary ( Tayassu sp.) paují (Pauxi sp.) guacharaca (Ortalis ruficauda) Querrequerre (Cyanocorax yncas). | Flora: | Arboreal plants are predominant and represented by the genera Guarea, Gustavia, Inga, Ocotea and Tabebuia. Some of the species have abundant cedar (Cedrela americana), Saman (Pithecelobium saman), the bucare (Erythrina poeppigiana), the araguaney (Tabebuia chrysantha), the nerd (Cordia alliodora), the giant horsetail (Equisetum giganteum), Palm PrApa (Wettinia praemorsa) and the blessed palm or wax (Ceroxylon sp.).
