Among the mammals: fox (Cerdocyon thous), giant anteater (Giant Anteater) caramerudo deer (Odocoileus virginianus). | Flora: | Predominant formation of sheets with Axonopus, Luziola, Panicum, Paspalum and Sorghastrum. Among tree species include the dwarf (Byrsonima crasifolia and Curatella americana), Saman (Pithecellobium saman), ceiba (Ceiba pentandra), the apamate (Tabebuia rosea) and macanilla palm (Bactris sp.). | Water resources: | Sarare River, a tributary of the Rio Apure, Orinoco River basin. | Tourist attractions: | Presents training vegetated savannah high plains crossed by major rivers like the Rio Viejo, El Cutufí, El Nil, El Burguita.
