      Carabobo State
      Area:
      44,500 hectares.
      Declaration:
      Decree No. 1430 of 14 January 1987.
      Official Gazette No. 33,645 of 26 January 1987.
      Management Plan and Regulations for Use:
      Decree No. 1368 dated 12 June 1986.
      Protected ecosystems and important natural attractions:
      Forests oubadus custems, evergreen forests, deciduous forests, grasslands and coastal shrubland, coastal mangroves. Coastal scenery and islands.
      Wildlife:
      Danta (Tapirus terresfris), puma (Puma concolor), jaguar (Panthera onca), three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus). Among the reptiles are the iguanas (Iguana iguana), coral (Micrurus sp.) Mapanare (Bothrops sp.) And the Crocodile (Crocodylus acutus). At least thirteen species of birds of restricted distribution. Some birds seen as the tailed emerald (Chlorostilbon alice), other threats such as helmeted currasow (Pauxi pauxi). Seabirds and shorebirds.
      Flora:
      The shoreline vegetation is dominated by the cardonal-thorn and the formations of red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle), while Cassia sp., Cecropia sp. Erythryna sp., Inga sp. and Tabebuia sp. develop in the deciduous forests. At higher altitudes include the bucket or child (Gyranthera caribensis) and an important group such as macanilla palms (Bactris setulosa), cane mill (Chamaedorea pinnatifrons), the palm of chub (Dictyocaryum fuscum), palmitic shadow (Geonoma sp.) and palm PrApa (Wettinia praemorsa).
      Water resources:
      Vigirimita Rios, guavas, and Agua Linda Cabriales the Valencia Lake basin. Trenches, Miquija, Goaigoaza, San Esteban. Borburata, Santa Rita and Patanemo of the Caribbean Basin.

      • Spanish highways.

      • Fifth Pimentel.
      • Ogival Hondo Pass Bridge.
      • Rincon Hondo.
      • Petroglyphs and Piedra Pintada The Carnations.
      • Indian Cemetery.
      Activities Permitted:
      Walking, hiking, soaking baths and river beaches, sports persons, boating, diving, camping, wildlife observation dela.
      Prohibited Activities:
      Hunting, fishing or commercial underwater drivetrain, trap or net. Carrying firearms or any other that may cause damage to natural resources. Collect any items from the flora of the park, bonfires, outlets and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Excavations. Make or commercial advertisements or political setting. Parking in places not marked. Entering the park in hours not established visiting hours. Use of sound equipment that disturbs the quiet of the park and visitors. Use insecticides. Throwing waste of any kind outside of the containers used for such purposes. Conduct scientific research and taking photographs or filming for commercial purposes without permission. Extraction of archaeological or historical features.
      Schedules and fares:
      Visiting hours at the park is from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
