SERRANIA OF MIST
Location:	Amazonas State
Area:	1,360,000 hectares .
Declaration:	Decree No. 2979 of 12 December 1978. Gazette E - No. 2417 from 07 Mars 1979.
Protected ecosystems and important natural attractions:	Evergreen forests Tepui including lowland forests, vegetation tepuyana, piedmont plains. Tepuyes.
Wildlife:	They live about 250 species of birds. Great wealth of endemic fish and amphibians.
Flora:	Rich in ferns, orchids, Ericaceae, Compositae, Cyperaceae and bromeliads. Endemic: Rutaneblina, Saccifolium, Achlyphila and Neblinantha. Insectivorous species of the genus Bromelia, Drosera, Heliamphora and Utricularia.
Water resources:	Rivers Baria, YATU, Arari and Siapa River Basin Casiquiare.
Tourist attractions:	Aramaconi Hills, Aratitiyope, Wasp and Cupi Cano of Rio Grande Barias. Jumping redfish and The Bear in the Siapa River.
Activities Permitted:	They are very restricted, only scientific research and monitoring.
Prohibited Activities:	Lighting fires. Extract or introduction of plant and animal species. Leaving or throwing solid waste. Mark or cause damage to vegetation. Hunt. Carrying firearms or any other that may cause damage to natural resources. Expense and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Entering the park without permission. Taking pictures or filming for commercial purposes without permission.
