Protected ecosystems and important natural attractions:

Evergreen forests, seasonally flooded forests, palm forests, coastal shrubland, savanna woodlands and shrub and grasslands. Tepuyes.

Wildlife:

Presence of endemic species like the frog Dendrobates steyermarkii.

Flora:

Highlight the presence of a grass endemic only representative of his family in the world (gender Pentaherista). Other endemics: Anthurium wurdackii, Ecclinusa orinocensis, Xanthosoma orinocense.
