Carupano

This city is well known for its Carnival celebrations moved, but all year round offers attractions that make it a pleasant destination for a getaway.
As the largest city in the eastern part of Sucre, in addition to having many options for accommodation, restaurants and shops, also has access via commercial flights, in addition to the buses are always available for those visitors who prefer not to spend time behind to reach the steering wheel. But if you go into car, there are still more options around the city.

The adventure begins
Facing the industrial zone is located Rancho Grande Inn Restaurant an ambitious complex managed by the owners, the family Velasquez. There's everything: a large restaurant (open to the public, with bar, 2 Caneyes contiguous with pool table, ping pong), fitness area, Creole balls, playground, inflatable castle, horse and bicycle rentals, swimming pool surrounded by tables of umbrellas and chairs extension hut and lookout palafito style (with hammocks). The lodging consists of fifteen quarts M simple but comfortable room with bath (cold water), AA, cable TV, and four attractive rustic cabins (with a 2M, TV, AA, neverita; bathroom; parrillera).
Before reaching the main Carupano can enjoy Playa Copey (very good, while the beach of the city, facing the boardwalk, unfortunately, is contaminated), and several offers of accommodation. In addition, many flamingos in the gap between urbanization and road / beach.
The first entry to cross into the sea is a very dangerous curve, then continue until the second inning. You will see several warnings inns.
Next to the beach, there are two options, not only to stay but also for food. White House Inn Restaurant is on the beach, served personally by their own kind, Maria Victoria and Jose Maria Carrión. Besides offering comfortable rooms with bath, TV and AA, the restaurant is crowded, the specialty is the fabulous Valencian paella prepared by José María.
At the same street, is the Posada Nena, which since its debut has been a process of continuous improvement, and with the personal attention of owners, Volker (who speaks German and English) and Minerva. It has comfortable and well equipped rooms, an apartment with full kitchen, swimming pool, restaurant (open to the public, with delicious food), bar, pool table, hiking, internet services, massage treatments for two, off season: fourth: no air conditioning.
A bit east, 50 meters from the beach, is Mareco Furnished Cabins. Has both normal and quarts cottages with kitchen (all with air conditioning, cable TV), a beautiful tasca karaoke and three swimming pools. You can also enjoy its facilities by paying an entry for the day.

Break
The main route from downtown (Independence Avenue), like most cities today, is completely taken over by hawkers. However, the most important attractions are close to the boardwalk.
A few blocks away is the Plaza Santa Rosa with the city museum and the cathedral to the south east. Behind this temple, on the street Santa Rosa, an excellent choice at mealtime is Hermuz Café (Mon-Sat: 12-3, 6-10 pm, at Villa Hermuz). At the end of the aisle, is this gem with beautiful furniture, soft jazz music, a very creative menu, even for the young and exquisite meal (two months ago, when he visits, including such dishes as Lomito three peppers and vegetables Parmesan basket ...) at very reasonable prices.
If you are without a vehicle, Posada La Colina is highly desirable; Boyacá Street, No. 51, behind the Victoria Hotel). Is a few blocks from the shopping area of Independence Avenue and two blocks from the boardwalk, inviting everyone to walk on the beach. It has a beautiful view of the city and the sea, with quarts very nice, restaurant, bars, swimming pool for two - with fans and air conditioning.
