Hato El Cedral is a beautiful cattle ranch as an ecological reserve because of its valuable wildlife, which provides visitors one of the greatest wildlife spectacles in our hemisphere. Cedral offers accommodation in 25 comfortable cabins with air conditioning, ceiling fans and private bath with hot water.
The facilities include a swimming pool, a dining pleasure that combines Cuban and international cuisine. There are telephone and fax facilities.
At night you can watch videos on wildlife, you may have the opportunity to participate in any scientific discussion or simply enjoy a lively set of music llanera. The facilities also have a pool, a bar and a buffet-style dining room which serves Cuban and international cuisine.
It offers a guide to the various excursions, who speak Spanish and English for the convenience of foreign tourists.

Hato El Cedral has an area of 53,000 hectares, which have identified over 350 species of birds, a variety of reptiles and mammals, where the most notable is the capybara, the world's largest rodent, whose number reaches to about 20,000. All these animals are free, without fear, since hunting was banned for several years, giving them very secure and allows us to see them at very close range. In the herd there are natural water systems Matiyure and rivers and the Caño Orichuna Caicara.

Tour classic stay: 3 days 2 nights

Day 1: To reach the Herd will take a commercial flight to Barinas and then made the move to the ranch land about 3 ½ hours. (You can charter a plane from Caracas and landed directly in the camp).

Routes 3: Mata Cane - Batea La Puente - Corozito:

Mata-Matiyure Cane:

Mata-cane Batea La Puente: Approximately 20 minutes on safari.
Observation of dolphins and bats.

The bridge-Corozito Batea:
Approximately 30 minutes on safari in the Loan and the embankment of Corozito.
Birdwatching Palmeros bears and foxes gouache.
Duration 3 hours. Ideal to do in the mornings.

2 routes: Mata Cane - The Jobal:
Matiyure - Mata Cane (see 1.a.)
Mata Cane - The Jobal: Approximately 1 ½ hours on safari in the embankment Jobal. Bird watching and possibly anacondas. Return.
Duration: 3 hours. Ideal for morning excursions.

2 routes: Calçada - The Cows:
Matiyure-Caicara:
Approximately 30 minutes on safari.
Bird watching and dolphins in the river Caicara.

Caicara - The Cows:
Approximately 30 minutes on safari.
Araguatos and birding on the road.
Walk 45 minutes forests galleries. Return.
Duration 2 ½ hours.

Laguna Barretera:
We head to the port on safari in 5 minutes. After 45 minutes by boat to Laguna. On the road are observed birds, caiman and chenchenas. Piranha fishing in the Laguna. Return.
Duration: 2 ½ hours.

The Rayados:
Caracaro take to the road and arrived by boat to the dam or going by boat to Caicara foundations Los Venados Veladero and then to the dam. Picnic at the dam Los Rayados. Pavón and piranha fishing. Observed on the road capybara, birds, livestock and Ocelot.
