Los Andes - The Plains Ecological Adventure 6 days
Day 1: 7:00 am Departure to Mérida cable car, the highest and throughout the world to climb the Pico Espejo (4,965 m), and return to the Loma Redonda station (4.045msnm) where he began a walk across the moors to the town of Los Nevados (4 hours approx.). Day 3: 8:00 am Departure to the trans-Andean highway through the towns of Mucuchies, San Rafael del Paramo, and others. Visiting the Stone Chapel Juan Félix Sánchez, Biological Station of the Condor of the Andes, the Eagle Peak (4.118msnm) Mucubaji Lagoon, walk to the lake's victory (2 hours approx.) Day 5: 9:00 Departure on horseback around the camp (approx 3 hours). Return to the camp lunch and rest. In the afternoon safari tour to observe wildlife. (Alligators, capybaras, deer, anacondas, anteaters and many birds). Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: 9:00 am boat ride on the River Guaritico (wildlife refuge) where we can see semi-aquatic birds, turtles and freshwater dolphins. Return to the camp lunch and rest. Safari Tour in the afternoon to find and observe more wildlife and find a good place to fish for piranhas that eat at dinner.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: 8:00 am Depart to San Fernando de Apure (3 hours approx.).
