Protected ecosystems and
relevant natural attractions:
Set of hills and mountains covered in semi-arid vegetation.
Tourist attractions:
This monument is a topographic feature formed by a set of hills and semi-arid hills, composed of quartzite rocks which provide shelter for many species of flora and fauna. It has permanent water courses and temporary and is an important reservoir aquifer among which Titicare forest.
Activities Permitted:
Hiking, watching the panorama from the balcony located on the road to the Valle del Turbio, nature observation, scientific research.
Prohibited Activities:
Hunting for sport or commercial logging, the introduction and breeding of domestic animals, movement of motor vehicles, mass sports and leisure events, the carrying of weapons, the removal of flora and fauna.

relevant natural attractions:
Massif where the river Yaracuy forests. Seat legends, cults and magical-religious folk.
Tourist attractions:
It is a mountain covered with virgin forests and a great variety of flora and fauna. It is seat of legends and folk myths that worship the deity Aboriginal Lionza Queen Mary. Among the sights are: Sorte, Cerro La Danta, Quibayo, Aracal, Buchicabure, Charay, Tacariguita, Las Cascadas.
Activities Permitted:
Hiking, mythical-religious acts in the areas of Sorte, and El Oro Quibayo
Prohibited Activities:
Hunting, mining plants and wildlife.

relevant natural attractions:
Highest peak in the mountainous interior of the Cordillera de la Costa.
Tourist attractions:
It is a natural setting of hills and grasslands on the edge of the Serrania del Interior and the plains. It is the highest mountain in the mountains and has a mountainous landscape with a cloud forest vegetation where water-born major tributaries that feed the main dams in the area. In its lower part presents savannah vegetation.

Limestone formations with numerous caves and streams.
Tourist attractions:
This monument stands out as a set of three limestone beds that contain numerous caves and are crossed by small streams and deep vertical chasms.

Prohibited Activities:
Hunting for sport or commercial. The introduction and breeding of domestic animals. The mass sports and leisure events. The carrying of weapons. The extraction of species of flora and fauna.

Prominent limestone formations. Cuevas.
Tourist attractions:
Reef limestone hills that rise in serrated which had their development when an ancient sea covered this area 80 million years ago. Presents the formation of numerous smaller caves.
Activities Permitted:
Hiking, scientific research, climbing.
Prohibited Activities:
Hunting, mining plants, fauna or geological sample.
Schedules and fares:
None established. It is recommended to visit during daytime hours.
 
Piedra Del Cocuy

Protected ecosystems and
relevant natural attractions:
Stunning granite rock formation shaped geodesic dome that stands in the Amazon peneplain.
Tourist attractions:
An igneous rock is considered a unique geological formation unique in the world, is about 400 meters high and stands at the remote Amazon jungle peneplain. Its summit consists of three peaks of difficult climbing nearly vertical as smooth and steep walls. The surrounding forests contain unique species found only in this area.
Activities Permitted:
Tours, ecotourism, bird watching, scientific research.
Prohibited Activities:
Hunting for sport or commercial. The cutting and burning of any form of vegetation. The extraction of specimens of flora and fauna. Lighting fires. The sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages. The carrying of weapons and firearms.
